Named after English physicist James Prescott Joule and his namesake unit for measuring energy ( 1 Joule is about 0.24 calories), the project is a documentation of the devices which the Greek power monopoly and its predecessors have been installing on exterior walls of buildings since the beginning of the 20th century. It might also be something between a philosophical contemplation on electricity, a study of light and shadow, an anthropological study of human interaction with rudimentary technology and an observation of Greek do-it-yourself ways of building. The project is still ongoing as of 2024. Several images were part of an exhibition at the Four Corners Gallery in London in 2017
